Starting Salary: $59,200 and up (Assistant Professor). The University provides generous benefits.

Institutional Requirements: To be considered for appointment, the candidate must wholeheartedly endorse the Mission Statement and the Statement of Faith of the University (see http://www.kingsu.ca/about-us/). The successful candidate must have graduate level course work in areas of teaching. A Ph.D. in Geography, Environmental Studies or related fields is required for a tenure-track appointment. Candidates with post-doctoral experience are preferred.
Teaching Load: Six term courses or equivalent per year.

The Applicants should indicate their competencies and preferences for teaching the following courses: Introduction to Sustainability, Landscapes & Human Settlements, Humankind & the Biosphere, Geographic Information Systems, Resource Planning and Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Internship Reflections & Issues. Experience with student internships is desired. The successful candidate is expected to carry out a program of research in their area of expertise, including external funding and the training of undergraduates. Applicants should outline their research program for the next five years at The King’s University. All geography and environmental courses integrate faith and learning that emphasizes foundational and ethical perspectives. Candidates are expected to articulate and develop a Christian perspective on their discipline, addressing the role that faith has in shaping course content and research activities.
