A full time Postdoctoral Research Associates Fellowship is are sought to work on a European Research Council funded project entitled:
- Adaptation, Dispersals and Phenotype: understanding the roles of climate,natural selection and energetics in shaping global hunter-gatherer adaptability (ADaPt)
The advertised post will work on the project strand entitled: Understanding human diversity through phylogenetically, climatically and spatially controlled analyses of skeletal morphology.
The Research Associate will be expected to work on palaeoclimatic modelling of late Pleistocene Africa. Applicants should have previous experience in modelling, computer programming, and/or mathematical experience relevant to research on climatic reconstructions, environmental modelling and/or hydrology models. Experience programming in Fortran experience would be beneficial.
